Boys Lacrosse

Team Info

The mission of Tampa Catholic Boys’ Lacrosse is to introduce young men to the sport and help grow the game. Beyond learning the sport, young men will learn lessons in accountability, personal responsibility, and being reliable teammates on and off the field. Fundamentals will be the primary focus initially, but as each season progresses, the members of the team will learn high level lacrosse play. This program is designed with elements of multiple teams from the northeast, which will elevate the athletes lacrosse IQ and skill.

Coach Joe Kuebrich joins the Tampa Catholic Boys Lacrosse program as its Head Coach.  Growing up in a lacrosse family from Long Island, NY, Coach Kuebrich has over 20 years of coaching experience ranging from youth to college.

Coach Kuebrich was the Head Lacrosse Coach at Sickles High School from 2016-2022, amassing a 40-35 record, highlighted by the program’s first-ever district championship in 2017.  Prior to his arrival in Tampa in 2015, Coach Kuebrich served as an assistant coach and offensive coordinator in Danbury, CT and West Point, NY.

Coach Kuebrich  has contributed to growing the game within Hillsborough County and the surrounding area, serving as the president of Northwest Tampa Lacrosse, a youth club program that offers instruction and showcases opportunities to players in the Tampa Bay area, and as a coordinator for the Tampa Jam Lacrosse Tournaments, bringing together teams from across the state during the Pre-season and Off-season.
