The Homecoming Dance is September 28th at the Venetian Event Center located at St. Mark Catholic Church (9724 Cross Creek Blvd, Tampa, FL 33647). The dance will be held from 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM. There will be no entry after 8:30 PM and students may not leave dance before 10:30 PM.

 

Tickets are on sale today 9/06 and may be purchased through September 20th at 11:59 PM. After this date/time, ticket sales will be closed.

There will be no refunds or transfer of tickets purchased.

Guest Forms: 

Guests will be permitted, but must be in good standing at their respective school and must complete the guest verification form (to be given to the TC student BEFORE the purchase of tickets). 

Follow the Steps Below to Bring a Guest outside of Tampa Catholic: 

* Obtain a Guest Form and fill it out and give it to your guest to complete (forms can be filled out digitally) -- the form has been attached to this email

* Submit a physical copy of the guest form to Coach Ty or Mrs. Bagué (Room 221)

* Purchase your ticket and your guest’s ticket for the dance

POLICY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FORM

Dear Parent, 

Your son/daughter will be attending Tampa Catholic's Homecoming dance on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 at Venetian Event Center (address above).  It is important that your son/daughter be aware of the policies that have been put in place by the Administration of Tampa Catholic to provide a positive experience for the students on this very important occasion.  Please read the policies below with your son/daughter and sign this policy acknowledgement for the Tampa Catholic Administration.  

* SERVICE HOURS: Students must have completed half of their required approved hours for the semester by September 20th, 2024. Freshmen and Sophomores will need to complete 5 hours of service. Juniors and Seniors will need to complete 7.5 hours of service. 

* GOOD STUDENT STANDING: Students must have no outstanding detentions (deans or Saturdays). Students must serve all detentions prior to September 27th, 2024 in order to be admitted into the dance. 

* SUBSTANCE ABUSE:  Students at school-sponsored events are not allowed to be either in possession or under the influence of alcohol or any other controlled substance (Student Handbook, page 21-22).

* ATTENDANCE: Doors will open at 8:00 pm. All students must arrive by 8:30 pm. They are expected to remain at the event until 11:00 pm.  Students arriving after 8:30 pm will not be admitted to the event, and the parents will be contacted accordingly.  The doors will not reopen until 10:30 pm. 

* DRESS CODE:  The dress code is formal.  Young ladies may not wear dresses with bare midriffs, bare back, low cut tops, slits and openings, made of transparent fabric, styles that show cleavage and skirts that are hemmed more than three (3) inches above the knee.  Inappropriate dress is not permitted at Tampa Catholic High School and not permitted at Tampa Catholic functions including Homecoming and Prom.  For young men, formal means a tux or suit including tie, dress shirt, dress slacks, dress shoes and socks. (Student Handbook, page 18-20).

* TRANSPORTATION: Students attending Homecoming MAY NOT be transported in any vehicle, leased, rented or otherwise has a capacity greater than ten (10) passengers.  This includes Party Vans, Party Buses, extended limousines, and extended SUV-type vehicles.  In order to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all attending please make sure to provide us with the transportation information and contact information on this form.  

* Failure to comply with the above could result in penalties assessed for future school activities and events could forfeit your child's participation at this event/dance.  

 It is our hope that you son/daughter has a wonderful time.  We feel by making  you aware of this information, you can feel confident that your son/daughter will have a fun and safe Homecoming experience.
